Interviews

EUGENE DePASQUALE – 11/1/10

Running unopposed (and with good reason, as he’s beaten the competition by way more then 50, sometimes 70% in previous elections), Eugene DePasquale ably, fairly, and honestly represents the 95th PA House District, in York, PA. We had the distinct pleasure of interviewing him for this election-eve show, and were very impressed by his reasonable attitudes toward people and politics in general, his support for the environment, and his views on the less-than-effective media coverage we’re seeing these days. We discussed these and other topics, and encourage you to listen – and visit his website by clicking here. You can also visit his Facebook page by clicking here.

LOIS HERR

Recorded at the Lancaster County Democratic Committee Fall Banquet on October 9th, 2010, Making Sense hosts Don L and Laurie were glad to finally get a chance to interview Lois and have the recording work out well – the last time, the sound of cicadas in an outdoor venue drowned us all out, and we had to scrap the recording. This time, except for the distant sound of Democrats mingling in the background, our interview with Lois was a success. As you know, Lois is campaigning to unseat Joe Pitts for the US House of Representatives, representing the 16th District. Her website is www.herr2010.com, and we hope you’ll visit to make a donation, volunteer to help support her campaign – and of course – to check out the 40 worst votes by Joe Pitts – how did they limit the list to such a low number??? – and share your findings with any undecided voters you know.

PATRICK O’KEEFFE

Recorded on June 19th, 2010, at the Lancaster Pride Event in Buchanan Park, Making Sense host Don LeVasseur interviewed candidate Patrick O’Keeffe, who is running for State Representative in the 97th District. Patrick’s sensible approach to solving many of Pennsylvania’s problems and improving life for voters in his district – in Lititz, PA – are certainly worth a listen – and prove him to be worthy of your vote, as well.
