Above the Fold

July 20, 2010

Click to listen:

Let’s take a look at the news… A certain quitter governor from a state with a great view of Russia found out her daughter’s getting married…  Hey! Wait a minute, is that actually news?

We think not. So this week’s show – as our shows always have been, but we’re rededicating ourselves to the goal – will pertain solely to what should have been major news – reported “above the fold” -  providing the truth behind the distractions passing for news from both the left- and the right-leaning news outlets. From the lazy schmucks who won’t look for work as long as they can collect unemployment (just ask PA gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett) to how much money the top 3000 companies in the world cost us in terms of damage to the environment, it’s all here.

Oh, and as always,  we wrap up with The Lunatic Fringe, which this week includes proof that Jesus was no sissy and for all you commies out there, the truth about Karl Marx. Enjoy!

I am of the opinion that Sarah Palin not only KNEW of Bristol and Levi’s engagement announcement; her handlers are behind it. Interesting that the Playgirl-hot Levi, whose anti-mother-in-law statements erupted like a volcano once he was out on his own, is now recanting everything. Interesting, too, that Bristol’s brief real-world, reality-show stint and comments about abstinence have been reined in. This is what political operatives in the PR realm do for a big, fat living.

Don, you started out correctly calling Native Americans exactly that, Native Americans, but then you switched to “Indians”.

Calling a Native Ameican an Indian is considered an insult. I know so because I worked on a Native American reservation.

    Thanks! Fun show.

Thanks again for listening and commenting as well. You are correct and I deserve admonishment for characterizing Native Americans as “Indians.” As for the somatic cells, I took that directly from Jeffrey Smith’s book, “Seeds of Deception.” He states, “Monsanto’s own product label warns of many health problems for cows that may occur when treated with rbGH. It also mentions that the milk might contain an increase in somatic cell counts due to increased infections. Somatic cell counts is another term for pus, or dead white blood cells.”
      Is that statement correct?
