This week’s show, recorded live at the Lancaster Pride Festival, finds Don and his co-host discussing “factional” books, the latest atrocities in the Gulf (including some more slime that bubbled up during the BP hearings in Washington), and some surprising fun facts about right-wing hypocrisy, rhyming pundits on CNN, and an exciting new way to use peanuts.
We also had the pleasure of interviewing Patrick O’Keeffe (www.okeeffe2010.com), candidate for the PA House in the 97th District – give him a listen even if you’re not from PA – he’s a breath of fresh air with some practical ideas that will help any voter anywhere take a closer, more enlightened look at their own candidates.
Oh, and not surprisingly, LGBT issues also came up during our live recording session, including the latest on Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and the continuing support amongst certain US legislators for a Ugandan law designed to punish (and kill) homosexuals.
